Visit St Fagans for this free audio described tour for blind and partially sighted people to explore and handle objects from the Handling Collection. These objects help us to bring the past to life and represent a variety of different periods of history. 

Each object, whether a replica or the real thing, tells a story about Wales, its people and its past.

Join us to discover some of these stories together.  

Additional Information: 

  • This tour will be Bilingual.
  • Age suitability: 18+
  • The session will last for approximately 2 hours.

Safety Information for Visitors

Due to the historical nature of the site, please note the following potential hazards:

  • Water ponds and pools
  • Trip hazard on uneven paths and steps
  • Slippery surface paths, slopes and grassed areas

 Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. 12 month season ticket available for £45. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

 Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
