Join Aurora Trinity Collective artists for an embroidery workshop that promises exploration and learning, infused with all the joys of embroidery! 


Working together on a beautiful collaborative textile artwork, we will create a space for sharing skills and knowledge and having fun. No experience necessary, all abilities welcome.

Aurora Trinity Collective is a unique group of women who encourage the sharing of creative knowledge and skills in a safe and welcoming space for those seeking sanctuary in this country. Prioritising and engaging with creative outcomes that reflect personal narratives, traditions, and knowledge. Coming together to promote and support well-being and friendship within our community.

  • Location: Atrium at St Fagans National Museum of History
  • Workshop is free to attend but you must book a ticket 
  • Spaces are limited and for adults only 
  • We kindly ask you not to bring food or drink into the workshop space

Tickets          

This workshop is part of the Perspective(s) project. Perspective(s) is an artist led enquiry by Nasia Sarwar-Skuse into the museum as a space where narratives of power can be both upheld and deconstructed. A partnership project between Amgueddfa Cymru and Ways of Working taking place throughout 2024.

Perspective(s) is a collaboration between the Arts Council of Wales and Amgueddfa Cymru, which seeks to bring about a step change in how the visual arts and heritage sector reflects the cultural and ethnic diversity of our society. The project is supported by the Welsh Government as part of a collective effort to meet the culture and heritage goals of the Anti-racist Wales Action Plan.

Opening Hours

10am – 5pm daily (open Bank Holiday Mondays)

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to conduct bag searches when entering the museum.

Admission is free, however a charge may apply for some exhibitions, events and activities.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
