Event:Meet Father Christmas

St Fagans National Museum of History

Father Christmas will be visiting St Fagans once again this year, and you're invited to a very special event in our magical grotto in a private area within the main building. Father Christmas will read a story before meeting each child individually and they'll receive a gift.

Book your tickets

This Meet Father Christmas event is a standalone event - see below details of other bookable Christmas events and experiences with some of Father Christmas' helpers to fill your day with festive fun.

Important Information:

 • All tickets must be purchased in advance. Spaces are limited and we expect tickets to sell out quickly.
• A ticket is required for each participating child aged 3+. Due to the limitations of space in the grotto – we are only able to allocate space for a maximum of two adults/carers to accompany each participating child aged 3+. Non-participating infants in arms do not require a ticket, however they will not receive a gift from Father Christmas.
• Sessions are available in Welsh or English, with BSL interpretation available for the first two sessions on Sundays. The language of each session will be clearly labelled on the ticketing page. Please ensure you select the correct ticket for your language choice.
• If you are booking BSL tickets for the Meet Father Christmas event and plan to combine this with our other bookable Christmas sessions, please note that BSL interpretation on these days will be available at the Christmas Crafts activity between 12-1.30pm & the Writing a Letter activity between 2.30-4.30pm.
• The Meet Father Christmas event and its activities are intended for children aged 3+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, at all times.
• All pushchairs must be left outside the historic buildings.
• Ticketholders should arrive promptly and no more than 15 minutes before their allocated start time. Please allow up to 10 minutes to walk from the Museum car park to the event entrance behind the Main Entrance.
• Weather-appropriate clothing should be worn. You will be required to wait outside until your allocated start time.
• Your ticket price does not include parking. Car parking charge is £7 per day.
• All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative date or event.  Please ensure that you are 100% happy with your choices before booking.
• Assistance dogs only for this event please.
• You will receive an order confirmation at the time of booking, and will receive your eticket 2 days before your event.
