Event:Write your Christmas Letter in the Victorian Schoolhouse

St Fagans National Museum of History

The elves are working on the big list of who's been especially good this year. Each child will visit Maestir School to meet one of Father Christmas' Elves, who will help them write their special letter. Then you'll pop round to our tiny Post Office to send it off to the North Pole.

Book your tickets

Important Information:

• All tickets must be purchased in advance. Spaces are limited.
• Ticketholders will have access to this activity once on the day they have booked. There is no allocated start time - ticketholders can participate on a drop-in basis between 10am-1pm & 2-4.30pm. If the activity is full when you arrive, you may have to wait a few minutes until a space comes available. We encourage participants to arrive promptly, and no later than 4pm to the last activity, to ensure you can do everything before the Museum closes.
• A ticket is required for each participating child aged 3+. Due to the limitations of space in the buildings – we are only able to allocate space for a maximum of two adults/carers to accompany each participating child aged 3+. Non-participating infants in arms or children under 3 years old do not require a ticket, however they will not participate in the activity.
• Sessions will be bilingual (Welsh and English), with British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation available at this activity on Sundays between 2.30-4.30pm.
• Please note that this event doesn't include an experience with Father Christmas - we have a Meet Father Christmas event that needs to be booked separately. See below details of other bookable Christmas events and experiences to fill your day with festive fun.
• The Writing a Letter event is intended for children aged 3+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, at all times.
• All pushchairs must be left outside the historic buildings.
• Please allow up to 10 minutes to walk from the Museum car park to Maestir School. If you are combining this with any of our other bookable Christmas sessions, please allow up to 15 minutes to walk from one activity to the next.
• Your ticket price does not include parking. Car parking charge is £7 per day.
• All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative date or event.  Please ensure that you are 100% happy with your choices before booking.
• Assistance dogs only for this event please.
