Event:Dementia Friendly Activity: Welcoming the Spring

St Fagans National Museum of History

Join us at St Fagans National Museum of History to mark the beginning of Spring, with a visit to see the pregnant ewes at Llwyn-yr-Eos farm, followed by an opportunity to plant your own spring bulbs to take home

The session involves:

  • A warm welcome in a dedicated space
  • A chance to explore and enjoy our outdoor environment
  • An opportunity to take part in a light craft activity
  • A warm drink and a chat

The session will take place within the museum. It lasts approximately 3 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided.

These opportunities are open to both those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia.

Opening Hours

From 4 November until 28 February 2025, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.

Closed 8 January 2025 for staff training. 

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
