Event:Textiles Inspired by St Fagans

St Fagans National Museum of History

Join Cutting Edge textile group at St Fagans National Museum of History on Friday and Saturday, 25-26 April 2025 in Gweithdy between 10am – 4pm. We will be showcasing our St Fagans themed work created over the past year - individual pieces of textile and mixed media work, fabric postcards and a St Fagans themed Monopoly quilt.

Our event falls during Global Intergenerational Week and we are delighted that the museum has invited us to share our skills with others. You will meet Cutting Edge textile group members and can take part in craft activities suitable for all ages. It is the perfect opportunity to learn and share knowledge and skills, to be inspired or just have a chat.

Cutting Edge Textile Group has been established for 13 years. It is an informal group of individuals who love to sew, quilt, embroider and/or crochet. We also run Dyeing to Paint sessions for members who are interested in experimenting with colouring fabric.

You can find out more about our activities and projects on the Cutting Edge blog.

We hope that you will drop by on the above dates to view our work, immerse yourself in one of our activities of just to say hello. We would love to see you!
