Event:St David's Day

St Fagans National Museum of History

Where better to celebrate St David’s Day than St Fagans National Museum of History?

Join us as we celebrate Wales’ special day with:

  • A chance to see a special collection of harps and Eisteddfod chairs from Amgueddfa Cymru's store.
  • Harp music.
  • Traditional folk dancing at 1.30pm & 3pm.
  • Performances by Trac Cymru musicians and clog dancers throughout the day.
  • A chance to step inside the historic Llwyn-yr-eos kitchen and see how the family are preparing for spring.
  • Free family craft activities.
  • An opportunity to learn to sow heritage seeds with sustainable gardening charity Garden Organic. As part of the Heritage Seed Library’s 50th anniversary, the charity is hosting a unique Seed Relay and sharing precious heritage seeds with communities and organisations across Wales this spring.
  • Lambing season getting underway at Llwyn-yr-eos Farm.
