Join us at St Fagans National Museum of History for a free Bloedd workshop exploring the Queer history on display and discuss how we can engage with queer history, even when that connection isn’t immediately visible.
The day will be split into two sections, with a break for lunch in between. This workshop will be led by an Amgueddfa Cymru Producer (ACP) as part of Bloedd. Bloedd is a platform that gives Amgueddfa Cymru Producers the chance to creatively explore our national collections, including expanding our LGBTQ+ collections.
The morning session will involve a brief presentation and a chance to explore the indoor gallery spaces, followed by discussion. The afternoon will involve a guided walk outdoors. We will go as a group, but a worksheet will be provided should you prefer to explore at your own pace.
The event will be held in English, with resources available in English and Welsh.
You do not have to be an ACP to attend this session.
We’re always working on new and exciting exhibitions and events – why not be among the first to hear about them?
