Event:Dementia Friendly Activity: Honeybees

National Waterfront Museum

Honeybees at the National Waterfront Museum

Join us at the National Waterfront Museum as our Beekeeper introduces the hives that call our museum their home. This session will be followed by a light craft activity.

The session involves:

  • A warm welcome in a dedicated space
  • A chance to explore and enjoy one of our galleries
  • An opportunity to take part in a light craft/creative activity
  • A warm drink and a chat

The session will take place within the museum so there are not any long distances to walk. It lasts approximately 2.5 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided.

Information on accessibility at the National Waterfront Museum can be found here.

These opportunities are open to both those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia.

Booking is essential. To book a space, please register by clicking on the ‘Book tickets’ box to the right. Alternatively, please use the contact details below.

Should travel be a barrier to you participating, support is available and can be discussed.

For more information, or to discuss any concerns you may have about joining us, please get in touch by email mims@museumwales.ac.uk or phone 029 2057 3418.
