Event:Mindfulness, Music & Craft
Celebrate Adult Learners' Week here at National Wool Museum with Poet, Helen Cook and Harpist, Delyth Jenkins.
Helen Cook has recently published a book called 'A Cloth of Sounds: Poems exploring the Welsh Woollen Industry'. During the afternoon, Helen will be here to read the poems and discuss their meanings. Delyth will accompany whilst the poems are read. You will also have the opportunity to try wet felting, whilst learning the Welsh terminology for different parts of the wet felting process.
Please bring a coat and suitable footwear as, if the weather is good, part of the workshop will take place in the Museum's Natural Dye Garden. The wet felting section will take place in the Museum's Education Room.
This event is free, however every gift you give us, however small or large, will help us ensure that Amgueddfa Cymru belongs to everyone and is here for everyone to use.
