Dinosaur Land Play with Jig-So.
Step into Dinosaur Land for a relaxed hands-on play session where children can explore, create and imagine with dinosaurs.
This playful, drop-in event is designed especially for young children and their families, with plenty to do at your own pace.
What’s happening?
Decorate a giant dinosaur using a range of materials and textures
Explore dinosaur books, puzzles, and small-world play
Get creative at our craft table and make your own dinosaur bracelet or necklace to take home.
This event is free, however every gift you give us, however small or large, will help us ensure that Amgueddfa Cymru belongs to everyone and is here for everyone to use.

Opening Hours
Winter Opening Hours: From Tuesday 4 November until 13 February 2026, we will be open Tuesday – Saturday between 10am – 4pm.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Eat, drink, shop
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.

Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
