Course:Botanical Printing

National Wool Museum
Finished
Discover the world of Botanical printing where images of leaves and flowers are made using the natural dyes within them.

They are arranged onto prepared papers or fabrics and then steamed to release the colours. We will explore the Museum grounds and collect plant material from the trees and Dye Garden for you to create your own designs. The prints make great starting points for cards, embroidery or even special pockets and bags.

This is a relaxed day suitable for complete beginners. All materials, equipment and protective clothing will be provided but you should wear suitable clothes. You may also want to bring a notebook and camera/phone.
