This one-day course will include sorting the wool, Carding, followed by various methods of Spinning, using the Drop Spindle, Spinning Wheels and Peg Loom Weaving to create a small cushion pad to take home.

Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.

Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
