As part of Amgueddfa Cymru's Wellbeing Festival, the National Wool Museum will host a mindful painting workshop for children. The festival celebrates all that our museums have to offer in supporting mental wellbeing.
Get creative in this fun, relaxed workshop inspired by the National Wool Museum’s colourful Welsh woollen patterns. Using acrylic paints, you can decorate a tote bag provided or bring along a piece of clothing to customise. Enjoy simple mindful moments as you make something truly unique to take home.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to limited space, only one adult is permitted per booking.
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.

Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
