Bedcover
Damask bed cover, 1930s. Believed to have been either purchased or gifted to a member of the donor's family when they lived in a semi-detached house in Dafen, Llanelli. Her grandfather worked in the tinworks.
Satin weave in blue with yellow and green design consisting of floral motifs. Within each corner is a depiction of a woman in 18th century-style dress (Columbine?) with Pierott all within a circular border. The cover has a wide woven border to three sides finishing in a blue fringe.
