Carrying shawl made at a woollen mill in Brecon in 1889 for Mr and Mrs William Gwillim, Tredomen Court, Llanfilo, on the occasion of the birth of their first grandson, William. The weaver used wool from the family’s sheep to make the shawl. Grey and green checked with fringe on all four sides.
