Cup and saucer
Cup, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a soft greenish tinge to the glaze, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides moulded with a shell-like edge around the upper body, double intertwined handle with snall moulded leaves at the upper terminal; bat-printed in black with to either side of the exterior body a view of peacocks in a landscape. The lip-rim chipped and cracked. Saucer, cream-coloured earthenware with a soft yellowish tinge to the glaze, a deeper shade of cream than the cup, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides, moulded with a shell-like edge around the interior sides; bat-printed in black with to the centre of the well a view of peacocks in a landscape.
