New Loans make an Impression at National Museum Cardiff

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales often shares its collections with venues both home and abroad. And this autumn is no different as the French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist gallery at National Museum Cardiff feature two important loans from Germany, as part of an international exchange initiative.

Inspired by a forthcoming exhibition Tic Toc, it’s about Time, the 11ft interactive Christmas tree has been cleverly created by students from the School of Industrial Design at Swansea Metropolitan University.

Biodiversity in Wales can not be understood fully without understanding biodiversity in the global context. Further research on biodiversity will be undertaken by Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum of Wales at the end of the November when its entomologist and fly expert (dipterist) Dr Adrian Plant, from the natural history department at National Museum Cardiff, takes part in a three week scientific expedition to Chilean Patagonia.
