Amgueddfa Cymru looking for designers for the National Eisteddfod 2018 Chair

Following the official ceremony announcement that the National Eisteddfod will take place in Cardiff in 2018, we are already thinking towards the Chairing Ceremony. St Fagans National Museum of History celebrates its 70th birthday in 2018, and to help mark this the national institution has decided to sponsor the Chair. This week sees the beginning of the process of appointing a designer or maker to create the Chair.
