Event:Summer of Fun - Life in the Roman Legion

National Roman Legion Museum
Finished

Almost 2000 years ago the Fortress of Isca (Caerleon) played a big part in the north-western frontier of the Roman Empire.  Why not pop in to meet one of our soldiers from the Second Augustan Legion? They will show you some of their armour, weapons and military equipment as well as telling you about life for a Roman soldier on the edge of the empire.

These activities are being organised by Amgueddfa Cymru and the Federation of Welsh Museums & art Galleries as part of the Summer of Fun initiative, which is funded by the Welsh Government
