Event:Dementia friendly activity: Roman gardens and herbs

National Roman Legion Museum
Finished

Come and join us at the National Roman Legion Museum to find out more about what the Romans grew in their gardens and what the different herbs and plants could be used for. Beginning with a short tour of our Roman garden, we'll then have an opportunity to taste a few of the herbs grown at the museum.

The session involves:

· A warm welcome in a dedicated space

· A chance to enjoy our outdoor space

· A warm drink and a chat

The session will take place within the museum so there are not any long distances to walk. It lasts approximately 2 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided.

Information on accessibility at the National Roman Legion Museum can be found here.

These opportunities are only open to those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia.

Booking is essential. To book a space, please register by clicking on the ‘Book tickets’ box to the right’. Alternatively, please use the contact details below.

Should travel be a barrier to you participating, support is available and can be discussed.

For more information, or to discuss any concerns you may have about joining us, please get in touch by email mims@museumwales.ac.uk or phone 029 2057 3418.
