Event:Walking with Romans

National Roman Legion Museum

Discover and Explore

Starting and ending at the National Roman Legion Museum, explore Isca’s stunning amphitheatre and barracks with your own Roman guide for free!

Immerse yourself in real Roman ruins! March in the amphitheatre like Roman soldiers did nearly 2000 years ago. Stand in the barracks where the soldiers of Isca ate, drank, and slept!

This session takes place outdoors, with little shade or cover, and no areas to sit and rest. Also, those with mobility issues may find the uneven ground difficult.

Please let us know when you are booking if you would be sensitive to these experiences, and we will do our best to make everyone feel comfortable!
