Climb, swing, balance and wobble your way through the trees, and see the sights of St Fagans from above before zipping back down to earth. Tackle CoedLan’s 18 different obstacles, including a balance beam, zig zag bridge, cargo net and a zip wire.

The course costs £15 per person for one full circuit of the high ropes, including a 50m zip wire to finish. Tickets can be booked in advance or from the reception desk in the main building on a first come, first serve basis. 

Participants must be 110cm tall and aged over 6 in order to take part. Children between 110cm and 130cm must be accompanied by an individual over 130cm and aged over 12. The maximum weight is 18 stone.

Weather-appropriate clothing should be worn. Closed in shoes, no sandals, high heels or flip flops. Pockets should be empty and jewellery removed, long hair should be tied back.

Tickets are available to book up until midnight the night before. Limited availability on the day.

Opening Hours

Our opening hours are changing for the winter season.

From 4 November until 28 February 2025, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
