South Wales Makers' Market showcases some exceptional local Welsh crafting talent. Stalls are varied and can change each day, featuring crafts such as pottery, handmade body products, jewellery and textiles.

  • Please note that there may be last-minute changes to the stallholders listed above.

  • In case of bad weather please check with the website and the social media channels to make sure the market is still going ahead that day.

  • In the event of the market being cancelled or a particular trader having to cancel at the last minute, the museum will not be able to refund car parking fees.

  • Please check with the South Wales Maker’s Market before making a special journey.

Opening Hours

Our opening hours are changing for the winter season.

From 4 November until 28 February 2025, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.

Opening hours will be different for our Christmas events – see the event pages on our website for details.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

You can plan your journey using the Traveline Cymru website or by calling their helpline on 0800 464 0000.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
