Join our informal sketching group and explore the sights of St Fagans National Museum of History through drawing. All skill levels are welcome, and drawing materials are available if you need.   

Meet in the Gweithdy at 10:30am each month for a free and fun-filled morning of creativity.

Opening Hours

Winter Opening Hours

From Wednesday 29 October until Friday 13 February 2026, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to conduct bag searches when entering the museum.

Admission is free, however a charge may apply for some exhibitions, events and activities.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. 12 month season ticket available for £45. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

You can plan your journey using the Traveline Cymru website or by calling their helpline on 0800 464 0000.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.

Due to the historical nature of the site, please note the following potential hazards:

  • Water ponds and pools
  • Trip hazard on uneven paths and steps
  • Slippery surface paths, slopes and grassed areas
