A creative wellbeing group for people affected by cancer.
Join us at St Fagans National Museum of History for a mindful stroll in nature, followed by a creative making workshop inspired by what we have seen and explored.
The session involves:
- A warm welcome in a dedicated space
- A chance to explore and enjoy our outdoor environments
- A warm drink and a chat
The session will take place within the museum and lasts approximately 3 hours, with breaks included. Vouchers are provided for a warm or cold drink from the cafe. Information on accessibility at the museum can be found here: Accessibility – St Fagans National History Museum | Museum Wales These opportunities are open to those living with cancer and registered as patients with Velindre Cancer Service and those supporting people living with cancer.
Booking is essential. Failure to do so may result in you being charged an administration fee.

Due to the historical nature of the site, please note the following potential hazards:
- Water ponds and pools
- Trip hazard on uneven paths and steps
- Slippery surface paths, slopes and grassed areas
Parking
If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. 12 month season ticket available for £45. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop
- Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit.
- The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
