Talk:Patrons Event: Celebrating 50 years of the National Wool Museum – an evening at St Fagans National Museum of History

St Fagans National Museum of History

As part of our Patrons’ annual programme of events, we’ll be hosting an evening at St Fagans National Museum of History.

Patrons will meet and hear from the curatorial teams at the National Wool Museum, including:

  • Exciting site updates as we celebrate the National Wool Museum’s 50th anniversary, including gallery updates and the addition of a modern loom.
  • A talk from our new curator about the traditional patterns of Wales in our collection.
  • Learning about the work of our craftspeople in helping to preserve traditional skills for future generations.

This event forms part of our Patrons’ annual programme of events. Patrons provide a vital source of income that supports our work, helping to secure our future, while enjoying a close relationship with Amgueddfa Cymru and the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals.

We always love to encourage new supporters and offer a taster to anyone interested in what the scheme can offer.

If you are not a Patron and would like to join us for a free taster, please contact: development@museumwales.ac.uk
