Exhibition:Mike Parker’s On the Red Hill – A Love Story of Reg and George
A beautiful display of photographs from a collection relating to Reg Mickisch and George Walton that has recently been donated to Amgueddfa Cymru.
Their lives are told through Mike Parker’s 2019 book “On the Red Hill”.
“Their 62 years together encompassed the full gamut of society’s attitudes. For the first 18 years of their relationship, its very existence was illegal. Yet they were together long enough to go from being outlawed by the state to being married by one of its officials”.
Mike Parker, On the Red Hill, 2019.
