Event:Dementia Friendly Activity: Christmas Decorations
Join us at the National Waterfront Museum for an opportunity to make some decorations for one of the trees on display in our main hall. This will be accompanied by some Christmas treats, music and a visit to a few items on display in our gallery.
The session involves:
· A warm welcome in a dedicated space
· An opportunity to take part in a light craft activity
· A warm drink and a chat
The session will take place within the museum so there are not any long distances to walk. It lasts approximately 2.5 hours with breaks and refreshments will be provided. Information on accessibility at the National Waterfront Museum can be found here.
These opportunities are only open to those living with dementia and those supporting people living with dementia.
Booking is essential. To book a space, please register by clicking on the ‘Book tickets’ box to the right’. Alternatively, please use the contact details below.
For more information, or to discuss any concerns you may have about joining us, please get in touch by email mims@museumwales.ac.uk or phone 029 2057 3418.
