This exhibition is a mix of contemporary and historic images of women working in Wales.
The images, both contemporary and archival seek to challenge perceptions around what might be considered as women’s work. It emerges from an ongoing exploration of women’s working contexts and identities in Wales.
The exhibition invites the viewer to explore their own perspectives and perceptions of what women’s work means to them?
Viv Collis (photographer) lives and works in South West Wales. After a significant career working as a Youth & Community Worker in Swansea, she went on to study at Swansea College of Art.
