Exhibition:Calon Lan Five Senses Garden

National Waterfront Museum

As seen on Gardeners World and at Gardeners World LIVE

Designer: Emma Yousef

"Calon Lan blends my Welsh and Arab heritage through Islamic principles of stewardship, using geometric designs and Celtic art.

This garden fosters peace and reflection with eco-friendly materials and plants suited to the British climate.

A central eight-sided star fountain symbolises life's flow, its calming water inviting contemplation.

Elevated plants attract pollinators, enhancing biodiversity while creating a serene, meditative atmosphere.

Calon Lan is a welcoming space for all, encouraging connection with nature, reflection, and unity regardless of faith or background"
