Dive into the astonishing diversity of Swansea and Gower’s marine life!

Explore a world where resilient creatures cling to wave-battered shores, remote shipwrecks teem with life and ancient, enigmatic animals inhabit the deep, dark, and mysterious waters surrounding Swansea and Gower.

Through original footage and captivating photography collected over the years, marine biologist and underwater photographer Matt Green will unveil the unique and extraordinary species that make these extraordinary waters their home.

This event is supported by Local Places for Nature 2025-27 grant funding provided by Welsh Government, administered by WCVA and managed by Swansea Council in Swansea.

The National Waterfront Museum does not have a dedicated car park.

However, there are several pay and display car parks situated just a short walk from the Museum. You can find more information on car parking facilities here

  • Our café is open, but providing a limited offer. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches around the marina outside which make for a nice spot.
