We can’t wait to welcome you for a weekend of making, exploring, and discovering Swansea Science Festival 2026!

•       Confessions of a Traitor – two of Wales’ most memorable contestants from The Traitors, Fiona and Amanda, and Swansea University psychologist Dr Alex Jones, will explore the science of deception, trust and human behaviour
•       Grace’s Amazing Machines – Visit the CBeebies presenter’s electrical workshop
•       The Science of Harry Potter – satisfy the curious spirits of muggles everywhere
•       Bath Bombs – make a splash in our colourful workshop
•       Quick Fire Science – how Swansea scientists are changing the world

The National Waterfront Museum does not have a dedicated car park.

However, there are several pay and display car parks situated just a short walk from the Museum. You can find more information on car parking facilities here

 Eat, Drink, Shop

  • Our café is open, but providing a limited offer. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches around the marina outside which make for a nice spot.
