St Fagans Food Festival is so close, we can almost taste it! Join us on 12 & 13 September for a feast of family-friendly foodie activities, cookery demos, entertainment and treats from some of Wales’ finest producers.

Food choices

With over 60 food and drink stalls, there’s plenty of delicious food to choose from. We know that money can be tight so we’re delighted to say that each food stallholder will offer a tasty £7 meal option. There’ll be plenty of vegetarian, vegan and free-from options too.

National Vegetable Society Show 

As part of this year’s festival, we’re delighted to be hosting the spectacular National Vegetable Society Championships. Having welcomed the Welsh Branch Championships to the Festival for many years, we're especially pleased to have been chosen as the venue for the UK Championships. 

If you think you know your onions – think again! This is a chance to witness vegetable growing elevated to an art form. Enjoy the spectacle of one of Britain’s great horticultural traditions and get inspired to grow your own masterpieces

Bloedd entertainment 

Bloedd is taking over the entertainment again this year, curating a flowing programme of roaming performances and participatory experiences. Expect everything from live music and theatre to calming sound baths and sing-alongs, popping up across the festival weekend.

The festival's entertainment programme this year draws on how Welsh rivers have long linked communities, shaped food traditions, and carried stories across Wales and beyond.

Good Food Zone 

The Good Food Cardiff Zone will be celebrating Cardiff being named one of the most sustainable food cities in the UK. Join in with activities for all the family to learn about food which is good for people and the planet. The tent will include inspiring workshops, demos, talks and activities celebrating local food.

British Sign Language Provision

A British Sign Language interpreting service will be available at the festival again this year. 

Roaming interpreters are available at the event to guide D/deaf visitors around the festival, attend workshops with them, and to help with ordering food & drink. 

Some activities at the event will be delivered by deaf facilitators – including storytelling and craft workshops.

Come and learn some BSL with a fun and interactive short BSL sessions for people of all ages. These sessions will provide a welcoming introduction to BSL and encourage more people to connect with Deaf culture and communication.
