Course:CREU Fibres: Taster Session: Peg loom weaving
Celebrate Adult Learners’ Week by trying your hand at peg loom weaving at the National Wool Museum.
During this relaxed, practical session, you’ll use a traditional wooden peg loom and wool roving to create your own small woven cushion pad. No previous experience is needed, and guidance will be provided throughout.
The workshop will be bilingual and is suitable for adults aged 18+.
Booking essential: Places are limited.
Tickets will be available online until Thursday 17 September, unless the workshop sells out sooner. After this date, please call 02920 573070 to check availability.

Eat, drink, shop
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.

Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
