Create your own cosy bobble hat in a creative, hands-on workshop at the National Wool Museum.
Join a member of our talented team and learn how to make a unique bobble hat to take home. You’ll be able to choose from a selection of colours on the day and will be guided through each stage of the process in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Whether you’re creating a special handmade Christmas gift for someone else or treating yourself to a warm new winter accessory, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill and enjoy a creative morning.
The workshop will be delivered in English.
Suitable for adults and children 12+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.
Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
