Step back in time and meet Johnny Lewis, the real-life owner of Cambrian Mills, now the home of the National Wool Museum, from the 1920s to the 1950s.
Take a guided tour with Johnny and discover how wool was transformed from fleece to fabric. As you explore the Museum, you will see our historic machinery in action, operated by our skilled craftspeople, just as they would have done in the mills’ heyday.
Visit our new Make and Create Space, designed for imagination, making and community creativity.

Advice for our disabled visitors.
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.
Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
We’re always working on new and exciting exhibitions and events – why not be among the first to hear about them?
