Join Craft Technician Jody Smart and learn how to create your own decorative crocheted pumpkin to take home. Guided step by step, you’ll explore crochet techniques while making a beautiful handmade decoration inspired by the colours and textures of the season.
Whether you’re looking to try something new or enjoy a creative morning, this friendly workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some crochet experience. All materials are provided, so simply come along and enjoy making in a welcoming setting.
Tickets will be on sale until Wednesday 28 October 2026, unless they sell out beforehand. After this date, please call 02920 573070 to check whether any tickets are still available.

Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.
Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
