Join us for a special day of stories, history and discovery inspired by Johnny Lewis, former owner of Cambrian Mills.
Enjoy character-led tours in Welsh and English as Johnny Lewis shares stories of life at the mill and the local woollen industry. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see a Triumph Mayflower, the type of car Johnny drove, and discover more about the people, places and traditions connected to the Museum’s history.
Meet Nansi, a character inspired by the people and families of the local woollen community, and discover another side of life through stories and activities for all ages.
Additional activities will take place during the day, with further details and timings to be announced soon.
Advice for our disabled visitors.
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.
Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
We’re always working on new and exciting exhibitions and events – why not be among the first to hear about them?
