Explore the history of one of Wales’s most distinctive blanket designs through a fascinating hands-on session.

Join us to discover the sheep and wool industry in Wales and explore woollen objects from the Museum’s collection, including an original Double Castle blanket. Through close observation and discussion, you’ll learn how a design develops over time and how curators use objects as evidence to uncover stories about materials, production and changing tastes.

The talk will be delivered in English.

The Museum reserves the right to cancel or change a talk date/dates.
In these circumstances, the Museum will try to arrange an alternative date/dates. If an alternative cannot be agreed, then a full refund will be offered.
Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales are unable to offer any refunds should you decide to cancel or are unable to attend the talk you have booked.
In exceptional circumstances*, where you have contacted the Museum at least 4 weeks prior to the date of your talk, we will consider offering an alternative date or a full refund.
No alternative arrangements will be offered if the following circumstances apply:
• A booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks from the date of the talk (unless a waiting list for the talk exists and the place can be re-sold at short notice)
• You are unable to attend the talk due to travel problems, poor weather or cancellations by travel operators.
