Course: CREU Signature Series: Sew a Crossback Apron

National Wool Museum

Spend a day developing your sewing skills while making a beautiful and practical crossback apron to take home.

Perfect for the sewing room, garden or kitchen, this one-day course is ideal for anyone who has recently started sewing, or is returning to sewing and would like to build their confidence.

During the day, you’ll learn useful techniques including topstitching, sewing a patch pocket, facing, hemming and making straps. These are skills that can be used again in many future sewing projects.

The course is suitable for beginners upwards, although a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine is recommended.

All materials, including fabric, are included in the course price. Please note that the apron made during the course will feature one patch pocket.

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine. If you would like to use a machine provided for the course, please let us know when booking.
