Event:CREU Young Makers: Taster Session – Learn to Spin

National Wool Museum

Discover the traditional skill of spinning in this hands-on workshop created especially for young makers.

As part of the National Wool Museum’s 50th anniversary celebrations, and to mark Worldwide Spin in Public Day (WWSIP), children are invited to explore how wool is transformed into yarn.

With the chance to have a go at spinning for themselves, children will learn more about the process, experiment with the materials and create some yarn to take home at the end of the session.

No previous experience is needed – just come along, get creative and have a go!
