Course:CREU Signature Series: Make a Wool Patchwork Cushion with Suzi Park

Maker and tutor Suzi Park will be here for a creative day transforming wool offcuts into a unique patchwork cushion to take home.
Using 100% wool offcuts from Melin Tregwynt, you’ll cut and arrange strips of fabric before using a sewing machine to piece them together, creating your own individual wool patchwork design. During the day, you’ll then turn your finished fabric into a cushion cover.
Suzi is the founder of Make it in Wales and has been organising and teaching craft workshops since 2014.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, and guidance will be provided throughout the day.
All materials are included in the course price, including Melin Tregwynt wool fabric, thread and a 1x 8- inch (approx. 20cm) feather cushion pad.
Sewing machines will be available to use during the workshop. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine. If you would like to use a machine provided for the course, please let us know when booking.
Tickets will be on sale until Monday 16 November, unless they sell out sooner. After this date, please call 02920 573070 to check whether any places are still available.

Eat, drink, shop
Our café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Please note that the museum café closes at 4pm. The Museum shop will be open during your visit. You are welcome to bring a picnic , while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are benches outside which make for a nice spot.

Please note that the car park gates will be locked at 5pm. So if your vehicle is still in the car park after 5pm, we hope you brought a sleeping bag!
