Meet our Roman and learn more about the many roles within the Roman military, from archers and cavalry troopers to scouts. Discover more about the diverse range of roles that made up the Roman army and find out more about where some of the soldiers stationed in Isca (Caerleon) may have come from.

  • The Gallery has no facility for refreshments but there are number of catering outlets in Caerleon town centre.
     
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic, while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are areas outside which make for a nice spot.

Parking is either on Broadway (next to the amphitheatre), Museum Street (limited parking) or off High Street, adjacent to the Baths. Cycle stands are available at the amphitheatre.
