Course:Introduction to Mosaics
Join Justine Stroud of Primary Colours Murals & Mosaics to learn how to make mosaics in a friendly, fun environment.
There are a wide variety of mosaic tiles of different shapes and colours to choose from and a variety of designs to make at an easy, medium or harder level. You can make one A4 mosaic picture. All instructions are given to make a completed mosaic from start to finish including how to cut tiles and grout. The cost includes all instructions, materials and equipment.
In the afternoon you will join Dr. Mark Lewis, Senior Curator of Roman Archaeology, for a behind the scenes and gallery visit to see some of Roman Caerleon’s mosaic fragments and a short talk about the history of mosaic making in South Wales and elsewhere
