National Roman Legion Museum

Join us for a special screening of the BBC television programme ‘The Fall of Rome’ from the new series ‘Civilisations: Rise and Fall’.

This exclusive showing will take place amongst the collection at the National Roman Legion Museum and will include an introduction by Dr Mark Lewis, Senior Curator, who will give a Welsh angle to this key moment in history.

The programme uses objects from the British Museum to tell the story of the last days of the Roman Empire and Welsh context will be given by Dr Mark Lewis.

Parking

Parking is either on Broadway (next to the amphitheatre), Museum Street (limited parking) or off High Street, adjacent to the Baths. Cycle stands are available at the amphitheatre.

Eat, drink, shop

  • The Gallery has no facility for refreshments but there are number of catering outlets in Caerleon town centre.
     
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic, while there’s nowhere to eat these within the museum, there are areas outside which make for a nice spot.
