Event:Festival of Floralia

National Roman Legion Museum

Celebrate the Festival of Floralia with us.

Flora, the goddess of Spring, represented the flowering of new life. She protected the Spring blooms and breathed life into the earth.

The Romans honoured her with her own festival, Floralia, a time of games, merriment, and celebrations. People put on brightly coloured clothes and wore flowers in their hair.

Be inspired by her festival and create your own flower crown to welcome the Spring.
