By joining the Amgueddfa Cymru Patron scheme, you agree to abide by the Patron terms and conditions set out below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AMGUEDDFA CYMRU PATRONS
By joining the Amgueddfa Cymru Patron scheme, you agree to abide by the Patron Terms and Conditions as set out below.
1 PATRON ELIGIBILITY AND BENEFITS
1.1 GENERAL
1.1.1 Amgueddfa Cymru reserves the right to alter or vary the advertised price of a Patron membership.
1.1.2 Patron benefits are non-transferrable.
1.1.3 Patrons enter in to a 12-month or lifetime contract depending on the type of membership.
1.1.4 Patron membership can be cancelled within a 14-day period from sign-up, but only if no benefits have been accessed.
1.1.5 Joint Patron membership is for two adults living at the same address. Both members will receive a Patron card and can gain access to ticket offers and discounts.
1.1.6 Amgueddfa Cymru reserves the right to withdraw benefits at any time and without prior notice.
1.1.7 Amgueddfa Cymru reserves the right to make alterations to the Amgueddfa Cymru Patron scheme without prior notice.
1.2 ELIGIBILITY
1.2.1 You must be aged 18 or over to apply for Patron or renewal.
1.2.2 Applicants and gift recipients of Joint Patron membership must be two adults living at the same address and will receive one communication per household, unless both have opted to receive communication.
1.2.3 Amgueddfa Cymru reserves the right to reject an application for Patron membership or to terminate a Patron membership at any time due to the reason of misconduct or unacceptable behaviour while on Amgueddfa Cymru premises or at an event in conjunction with Amgueddfa Cymru. Legal action may also be taken.
1.3 GENERAL BENEFITS CLAUSES
1.3.1 All Patron benefits are for a duration of one year or lifetime depending on type of membership (unless specified otherwise).
1.3.2 Please note you can update your details and preferences at any time by going to your online Patron account or by contacting us.
1.3.3 Your named Patron is non-transferable.
1.3.4 Patron offers cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts and concessions or be applied to tickets already purchased.
1.3.5 Discounts and other special offers are all subject to availability.
1.3.6 Patrons are entitled to 10% off in all our shops and cafés. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers (such as: Sale items, 3 for 2 and buy one get one free).
2 SIGNING UP AND RENEWALS
2.1 HOW TO SIGN UP
2.1.1 Applications for new Patron memberships can be made online at https://my.museum.wales
2.1.2 Patron renewals can be made online by signing into your online members’ account at https://my.museum.wales
2.2 PAYMENT
1.7.1 Payment can be made by credit or debit card.
1.7.2 Payment will include the remaining days of the month purchased and be renewed the following month. For example if payment is made on January 22, 2023 Membership will expire on February 1, 2024
2.3 CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
2.3.1 Being a Patron is a way of supporting Amgueddfa Cymru. Patron membership can be cancelled within a 14-day period from sign up, but only if no benefits have been accessed. Once this period has passed, no refunds can be made.
2.3.2 This is a year-long Patron membership with an obligation to complete the payment schedule.
2.3.3 Patron benefits are valid whilst your Patron membership is active. Patron benefits deactivate when a Patron membership is cancelled or expires.
2.4 MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT OFFERS AND COMPLIMENTARY GIFTS
2.4.1 From time-to-time Amgueddfa Cymru may run special offers to promote Patron membership. No bulk or third-party entries are permitted and offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions.
3 GDPR
3.1.1 Patro names and contact details will be stored on a database so that we can send you information relating to Amgueddfa Cymru. We may contact you by phone, mail and email with updates including information about upcoming exhibitions and events.
3.1.2 Amgueddfa Cymru shall store and process your personal data in accordance with any applicable Data Protection legislation.
3.1.3 Patrons have the right to elect whether to receive further information from Amgueddfa Cymru. If you should change your mind at any time during your Patron membership, please notify us.
3.1.4 If at any time you wish to opt out of receiving such information, please update your account settings at Login | National Museum Wales in the 'My Account' section.
4. VARIATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Amgueddfa Cymru reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time. Such variations shall become effective immediately upon the posting on Amgueddfa Cymru’s website
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before applying for Patron membership, renewal or buying a Patron membership as a gift.
You should understand that by submitting the application online, by telephone or by post, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy notice.

Please note: If you are making use of a Patron membership bought for you by someone else, then by your action you agree and accept that these terms and conditions apply between us.
